SOBRAPO Members – regular or student: at the time of registration, must attach a receipt or document proving that they are up to date with the annual fee.
Members of ABE, APDIO, EPIO, ICHIO, SBMAC, and SEIO: will receive discounts or exemptions according to the cooperation agreements established with SOBRAPO, provided they attach a receipt or document proving that they are up to date with the annual fee of the society to which they are affiliated.

Non-member students: at the time of registration, must attach proof of enrollment.
Non-member recent PhD holders: at the time of registration, must attach the diploma or defense certificate and a declaration of non-employment.
Non-member Basic Education Teachers: at the time of registration, must attach a certificate demonstrating that they taught classes in high school in the year prior to the registration request.
General Remarks:
Each paid registration will be associated with one full paper and as many approved posters as allowed.
Cancellation Policy:
If you have registered for the 56th Brazilian Symposium on Operations Research - 2024 edition and need to request cancellation, please follow the instructions below according to the pre-established criteria:
The request must be sent by email (sobrapo@sobrapo.org.br/ sbpo@sobrapo.org.br), including the proof and date of registration, banking details (bank, branch, account number, full name of the participant), and CPF.
Request Criteria:
A refund request can be made under the following circumstances:
Until October 6, 2024. In this case, the refund will be 90% of the amount paid;
From October 7, 2024, to October 31, 2024. In this case, the refund will be 50% of the amount paid;
The registration is non-transferable. If you are unable to attend the event, cancellation/refund will only be granted following the deadlines mentioned above.
Not eligible for refunds: Cancellation requests submitted after October 31, 2024.
Important: Only the participant themselves can request cancellation (via email), following the criteria described above;
For refund analysis, the date of the request sent by email and the aforementioned deadlines/criteria will be considered;
The analysis of cancellation/refund requests can only be conducted via email and with the participant's registered data;
The refund will be directly processed to the participant's bank account;
The refund process may take up to 20 (twenty) days after the event.
